It places man on the throne established by and for God alone. We cannot capitulate.” When we speak of enthroning the truth of God within a political sphere, what does that (or could that) look like? I can understand the “will of the people” to be expressed (however pitifully) in the voting process we’ve established. What about the will of God? Or to keep it within the sphere of Corpus Christi, what does a eucharistic political theology look like?
